On a lazy afternoon I once slept
and fell into a lucid dream
in which I freely soared and swept
on the wind-current's stream –
above the brightest clouds I soared
against an azure blue sky;
untied from time's gripping cord
in my untethered skyward high –
an eternal moment of bliss
in which I could clearly see
in the ever here of suchness:
that I-self also immortal be.
